Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at La Gare on the second floor, built around local ingredients such as Toyama's specialty hotaruika no okizuke (marinated firefly squid), masuzushi (trout sushi), buri daikon (yellowtail and daikon radish), shiro-ebi (white shrimp) kakiage fritters and Koshihikari rice grown in Toyama Prefecture. It is served from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., with last entry at 9:30 a.m., and the venue is reserved for staying guests. Also on offer are rice cooked that morning from Toyama Koshihikari with Toyama water, miso soup, and the chef's special beef tendon curry. Guests are asked to refrain from coming to the venue in a nightgown or slippers.
Family-friendly features
Co-sleeping is free for one child of elementary school age or under per regular bed. Amenities are not provided for a co-sleeping child, and if a child uses a bed alone, the adult room rate applies even to children of elementary school age or under. If an elementary school child co-sleeps in a room with more than one bed, such as a twin room, they must be entered under the "young child" category in the guest count when booking. Access
The hotel is connected directly to JR Toyama Station, about a 1-minute walk away, and you can make the trip without getting wet in the rain. The route is signposted via the escalators and elevators in front of Esta, so there are no stairs to climb. Dentetsu-Toyama Station, the gateway to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Unazuki Onsen and Kurobe Gorge, is also on the first floor. By car it is about 20 minutes from Toyama IC, and the affiliated Chitetsu Building parking garage (60 spaces, height limit 2.1 m) can be used for 1,000 yen per night with in-and-out privileges. The parking garage is linked to the hotel by a connecting passage, but the passage shutter closes after 11:30 p.m., so guests arriving late are asked to contact the hotel in advance.
