Overview
Toyama Manten Hotel is a business hotel about 5 minutes from Toyama Station by city tram, or 10 minutes on foot. Dining
Breakfast is served on the 10th floor at Mansaki, where you can choose a Japanese or a Western set meal. It runs from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with last orders at 9 a.m., and costs 1,780 yen per person. Salad and freshly baked bread are all you can eat, and drinks are unlimited. For the time being, breakfast is available to staying guests only. For dinner, there are restaurants inside the hotel: Taiya, a kappo restaurant with live fish tanks serving the bounty of Toyama Bay; Karashiya, a proper yakiniku restaurant built around Japanese Black beef; and Kurobe, an izakaya serving regional dishes. All three are open from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There is also a coffee shop, Cafe Largo, on the first floor.
Baths
The 11th floor has separate communal baths for men and women, open from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., and guests may go in their loungewear and slippers. The spring water is an artificial radium spring. The men's bath has a plain hot-water bath, an open-air bath with a jacuzzi, a jet bath, a sauna and a cold plunge bath; the open-air bath is on the men's side only. The women's bath has only 6 washing stations, so on some days it can get crowded. There is also a women-only ganbanyoku (a heated-stone sauna), free of charge and by reservation, which uses tenshoseki and bakuhanseki stones, is kept at 42-43°C and has 3 beds. There is no private-hire bath, and guests with tattoos cannot use the baths.

However, when a twin room is used by 1 adult and 1 child, the rate charged is for 2 adults, and an elementary school child who uses a bed of their own rather than co-sleeping is charged the same rate as an adult. Children's slippers are among the items lent free of charge. Because extra beds are not available, parties of 3 or more need to choose a Japanese-Western room (two beds plus three sets of futon bedding, and can accommodate up to 5 guests). Co-sleeping is also handled differently depending on the plan: co-sleeping is not permitted on Economy Single plans, while Standard Single plans allow one co-sleeping child, and babies and toddlers are free only when booked with no meals and no bedding. Extending checkout costs 550 yen per hour, and checking out after 3 p.m. is charged as a full night. It is an option for families whose children need extra time getting ready.
Access
Take the city tram bound for Minami-Toyama-Ekimae for about 5 minutes; the hotel is right by the Sakurabashi tram stop. From JR Toyama Station it is about a 10-minute walk. By car it is 15 minutes from the Toyama IC on the Hokuriku Expressway, and from Toyama Airport it is about 20 minutes by airport bus, getting off at the Toyama City Hall bus stop and walking 5 minutes. The property has 100 parking spaces on site, surface and multi-level combined, available first-come, first-served for 1,000 yen covering 24 hours from the time you park. If the parking is full, guests are directed to an affiliated parking lot a 6-minute walk away at 1,000 yen per night.
