Fantasy Chateau has 419 guest rooms, with decorative touches throughout the wallpaper and light fixtures based on characters, plants and flowers from Disney films such as "Tangled" and "Bambi." Rooms are divided into four groups by location - Bay Area Side, Hotel Entrance Side, Rose Court Side and Springs Side - and the types are Superior Room, Superior Alcove Room, Deluxe Room and Deluxe Accessible Room (sleeps 3, twin). If you want to stay as a group of 4 or 5, the Springs Side Deluxe Alcove Room, Deluxe Balcony Room and Deluxe Balcony & Alcove Room each sleep 5 (twin). Grand Chateau has 56 guest rooms, every one of them with a balcony or terrace, in the Alcove Room, Terrace & Alcove Room, Terrace Accessible Room (sleeps 3, twin) and Grand Terrace Room types. Co-sleeping is allowed for up to one child of elementary school age or younger per regular bed, and is not allowed in trundle beds or alcove beds. When 3 or more guests share a room, the trundle bed or alcove bed comes into use, and stays exceeding the room's capacity are not possible. When a child is co-sleeping, even an elementary school child is booked as a "young child (no meals or bedding required)," and a child rate is set for this. The Superior Alcove Room offered through Rakuten Travel (41 sq m, sleeps 4) has two regular beds, so co-sleeping is limited to 2 children per room. Cribs are available to borrow for children under 18 months old at the time of the stay; numbers are limited, so an early request when you book, or soon after, is needed.
