Overview
THE MEIBIA MIYAZAKI is a designer hotel by Kengo Kuma, a 10-minute walk from Miyazaki Station. Up to two children who have not yet started elementary school, ages 6 and under, can co-sleep at no charge, and the hotel has Japanese-style tatami rooms and Japanese-Western rooms where families can sleep on futons. Breakfast includes a kids' plate, and the restaurant can accommodate allergies with advance reservation. A library with picture books and an outdoor pool open in summer make for a stay away from everyday life with children. In twin rooms, the beds can also be joined together to prevent falls.

Rates start at 29,873 yen including tax for two guests in a Japanese-style tatami room without meals.

Breakfast is served at the restaurant FOREST, with a choice of Japanese, Western or eggs Benedict. For children, there is a Western-style kids' plate. At dinner, the restaurant can propose alternative ingredients for guests with allergies when arranged in advance. FOREST also has private rooms available for a fee. Please note that the restaurant has a dress code and does not admit guests in sportswear, sandals or similar attire.
Baths
There is no communal bath or onsen, but every room has its own bath. Rooms in the new wing have an indoor jacuzzi, and the Deluxe Twin in the main building has an outdoor jacuzzi.

There is no charge for the surface parking, and cars can come and go 24 hours a day. A free shuttle from Miyazaki Station is also available, but please note that it cannot be used by children who are required to travel in a child seat. Check-in is from 4 p.m. to midnight, and checkout is at 12 p.m.
