Prince Smart Inn Miyazaki
forumWhat families say
Rakuten Travel rating 4.22 out of 5 (289 reviews). One family staying with a young child reported that the rooms were well soundproofed, so voices from around them were not a concern. A guest traveling with a 3-year-old was also glad that breakfast could be added for the child for an extra 100 yen. On the other hand, some guests point out that rooms have only four hangers and no closet, which makes storing luggage awkward on multi-night stays.

Overview
Prince Smart Inn Miyazaki is an accommodation-focused hotel about a 16-minute walk from JR Miyazaki Station, close to the Nishitachi entertainment district. All 163 rooms are non-smoking. The Standard Double and Standard Twin rooms have a shower booth only, while the Universal Twin has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. Co-sleeping is free for children up to age 5, with one child per bed, and breakfast is served free of charge to staying guests. There is no child rate and no pool.
Rooms
All 163 rooms are non-smoking, and there are three room types. The Standard Double Room is 15.65-15.76 sq m with one double bed measuring 140 cm wide by 200 cm long, for 1-2 guests. The Standard Twin Room is 17.95-18.52 sq m with two beds measuring 100 cm wide by 200 cm long, for 1-2 guests. The Universal Twin Room is 23.45-23.49 sq m, also with two beds measuring 100 cm wide by 200 cm long; it is barrier-free and has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub. There is storage space under the beds, so suitcases and other luggage can be tucked away to keep the room feeling open. Guest rooms are listed as having a humidifier and air purifier, but published descriptions differ on this point, so it is worth confirming before you book.
Dining
Staying guests are served a free light breakfast at Le Soleil Rice Bowl Shop & Cafe on the first floor, from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The choice is an onigiri (rice ball) set with two onigiri, miso soup and pickles, or a tamago kake gohan set (rice with raw egg) with rice, egg, miso soup and pickles. Takeout is also available. Showing your room key serves as your breakfast ticket, but because co-sleeping children stay free of charge, they are not covered by the free breakfast; the same breakfast can be purchased for them at the restaurant. Room service is not available.
Baths
The Standard Double and Standard Twin rooms have no bathtub, only a shower booth with a regular shower and a rain shower. If you would like to bathe your child in a tub, you will need to choose the Universal Twin Room, which has a bathtub.
