Overview
Sugata Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi, Series by Marriott is about a 3-minute walk from Nagahoribashi Station and about a 7-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Metro. It opened in April 2026 as the first Series by Marriott hotel in Japan. Rooms come in three types - twin, double and triple - and up to 2 children who have not yet started elementary school can co-sleep free of charge. Preschool-age children booked without meals and without futon bedding are accepted up to 1 per double or twin room and up to 2 per triple room. There is no communal bath or onsen, so guests bathe in the bathroom in their room.
Rooms
Rooms come in three types: twin, double and triple. The twin room is 15 sq m for 1-2 guests, with two single beds measuring 100 cm wide by 195 cm long. The double room is 14 sq m for 1-2 guests, with one double bed measuring 140 cm wide by 195 cm long. The triple room is 19 sq m for 1-3 guests, with three single beds measuring 100 cm wide by 195 cm long. Every room has a television, telephone, Wi-Fi internet access, kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer, bidet-function toilet and safe, and an iron and a humidifier are available to borrow.
Dining
The first-floor restaurant Ampere Coffee & Kitchen serves all-day dining and a breakfast buffet daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Breakfast is buffet-style, served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. with last orders at 9:30 a.m., and costs 2,090 yen including tax. The menu includes house-made roast pork, house-made French toast, scrambled eggs, karaage fried chicken, curry, miso soup, yogurt and fruit. Room service is not available.
Family-Friendly Features
Up to 2 children under school age can co-sleep free of charge per room. Preschool-age children booked without meals and without futon bedding are accepted up to 1 per double or twin room and up to 2 per triple room. For elementary school children, in both the lower and upper grades, co-sleeping is charged at 100% of the adult rate. Infants and young children cannot be booked with meals and bedding, without meals but with bedding, or with meals but without bedding; they can only be accommodated free of charge without meals and without bedding. There is no onsen, communal bath or private-hire bath, so bathing takes place in the bathroom in your room. Room service is not available, so families hoping to have meals brought to the room should keep this in mind.

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from the North 4 exit of Nagahoribashi Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line and Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, and about a 7-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line. A convenience store stands right in front of the hotel. The hotel has no parking and directs guests to the Nagahori-dori underground parking about a 5-minute walk away, which holds 1,030 vehicles. Taking the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line from Nagahoribashi Station gives you direct access, with no transfers, to Kyocera Dome Osaka and Osaka-jo Hall.
