forumWhat families say
Rakuten Travel rating 4.57 out of 5 (4,275 reviews). Guests say the location right in front of the park makes access easy, which is a real help with children. Some reviews also mention the bathroom's washing area as a welcome point for families. On the other hand, one guest was bothered by visible black mold in the bathroom, so travelers who care a lot about the bath may want to keep this in mind.

Children under school age stay free when co-sleeping, with a limit of one child per bed for safety, while elementary school children pay the same rate as adults. Cribs (for babies under age 1) and bed guards are available to borrow free of charge. Room options include Japanese-style tatami rooms, rooms with bunk beds and connecting rooms for up to 6 guests. Rooms
The Standard Floor offers City View Rooms (30-34 sq m), Park View Rooms (40-45.5 sq m), the Deluxe Room (a 43.2 sq m Japanese-style tatami room with futons 100 cm wide) and a Barrier-Free Room (32 sq m, on the 4th floor). There are just 8 Japanese-style tatami rooms, all on floors 4 to 7, and each sleeps 4 to 5 guests. Everyone sleeps on futons, so there is no need to worry about a child falling out of bed. The Superior Floor City View Room sleeps up to 3 guests and has two beds 122 cm wide; when 3 guests stay, one of these is a 122 cm-wide extra bed. Park View Rooms on the Superior Floor (floors 8 to 20) take 1 to 4 guests, with 1 or 2 extra beds added for 3 or 4 guests. The Park View Triple on the Standard Floor (floors 4 to 7) also takes 1 to 4 guests, with one sofa bed for a party of 4. The Deluxe Room (Bunk Bed type) on floors 12 to 14 sleeps up to 5 guests, and the connecting rooms, a pair of rooms of 32 sq m and 42 sq m, can be used by up to 6 guests. The Barrier-Free Room must be requested when you book, and numbers are limited. Information as of July 2022 stated that there was only one such room, for 2 guests only, with requests taken by phone or email. Three room types have a view bath, where you can see the park from the bathroom window. The one suited to families is the Park View Room (View Bath type) on floors 23 to 25 (the Premium Superior Floor), which sleeps 2 to 4 guests; for 4 guests, two of the beds are extra beds (102 cm wide). The Park View Room (View Bath type) on floors 26 and 27 (the Luxury Floor) and The Park Front Room, of which there are only 2 on the 28th floor, sleep 2 guests. The windows in the view-bath rooms, the Japanese-style tatami rooms and some other rooms are built so that they cannot be opened.
Dining
Breakfast and dinner are served at Akala, the buffet restaurant on the 3rd floor; there is no room service. A kids' menu is set out at the buffet counter at both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant has children's tableware (plates, cups, forks and spoons) and children's high chairs, and staff will bring a high chair to your table if you ask. Breakfast costs 3,500 yen for adults (aged 13 and over), 2,000 yen for elementary school children (aged 6 to 12) and 1,000 yen for children aged 4 to 5, and it is free for children aged 3 and under. On plans that include breakfast, breakfast is free for co-sleeping children aged 4 to 5. Baby food is not provided, but you may bring your own, and the restaurant will warm it for you. There are also microwaves on the guest-room floors (floors 4 to 28). If your child has a food allergy, submit an allergy questionnaire at least 7 days before your stay. Severe allergies may not be accommodated, and because everything is prepared in the same kitchen, allergens may find their way into dishes. The menu cards do not list allergens.
Baths
There is no communal bath, onsen, private-hire bath, sauna or pool, so you bathe in your room's bathroom. In every room except the view-bath rooms, the bathroom is separate from the toilet and has its own washing area, which makes it easy to use with small children. In the view-bath rooms, the bathroom window looks out across the park.

It covers children from age 4 through elementary school. The co-sleeping limits shown on the plans are 3 for the Superior Floor City View Room on the [Early Bird 60] Standard Plan and 4 on the [Room Assigned by Hotel] 6 p.m. Check-in Plan, both subject to a maximum of one co-sleeping child per paying guest.
