A Family-Friendly Onsen Hotel Next to Minoo Onsen Spa Garden (Reopening After Renovation in October 2026)

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Minoo Kanko Hotel is an onsen hotel in Minoo, Osaka, about a 5-minute walk from Minoo Station on the Hankyu Minoo Line. It reopens after renovation on October 1, 2026, and overnight guests can use the adjoining Minoo Onsen Spa Garden free of charge as many times as they like (from 9 a.m. on the day of check-in). On site there is a premium lounge, a relaxation area, a manga (Japanese comics) corner and games available to borrow, so families can settle in and take their time.

Room to Move Around Indoors at the Kids Park

The Kids Park, stocked with large play equipment, slides and other exciting play structures, is free to use. There is also a baby area for smaller children, so kids can play indoors whatever the weather.

Bathing and Dining Made Easier with a Baby

Baby beds are installed in the changing rooms of both the women's and the men's communal baths. Baby baths, baby chairs and other children's items for the communal baths, along with children's yukata, are provided free of charge. The restaurant has baby food as well as children's tableware and chairs, which makes mealtimes with a baby much easier. Note that in the communal baths at Minoo Onsen Spa Garden, which overnight guests may use free of charge, children wearing diapers cannot get into the bathtubs; instead they use the baby baths set up inside the bathing area (per the official website). The water in the communal baths is a sodium bicarbonate and chloride spring.

A Lavish Buffet the Whole Family Can Enjoy

Meals are a lavish buffet with a live kitchen serving freshly made dishes. The menu changes with the seasons, so there is both the fun of choosing and plenty worth savoring. The sky-top open-air bath, about 180 m above sea level, is not an onsen, but it opens onto a sweeping panorama across the Osaka Plain.

The hotel stands in Onsen-cho, Minoo, Osaka, about a 5-minute walk from Minoo Station on the Hankyu Minoo Line. By car it is about 40 minutes from the Ibaraki IC on the Meishin Expressway and about 25 minutes from Itami Airport. It makes an easy base for family attractions in northern Osaka, including the Minoo Park Insect Museum (about a 15-minute walk), Satsukiyama Zoo, the Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda and Expo Commemorative Park. Guests with tattoos may use the communal bath only if the tattoo can be covered with the facility-designated cover seal (fee applies).
