A Few Minutes' Walk to Sesoko Beach, Indoor and Outdoor Pools

Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort is an all-ocean-view resort hotel on Sesoko Island, in Motobu-cho in the north of Okinawa's main island. Sesoko Beach, with a white sand shore that is rare even within the prefecture, sits right next to the hotel, and a few minutes' walk brings you out to strikingly clear water. A beach lounge also operates in summer.

There are two pools, one outdoor and one indoor.

• Outdoor pool (summer only): A 545-square-meter pool looking out on tropical trees and the hotel garden. It is divided into a children's area (45-60 cm deep, 10.8 m long) and an adult area (20 cm to 1 m 33 cm deep, 38.3 m long), so you can play in the shallow area together with a small child. The season varies from year to year; in 2026 it runs from March 20 to November 30, with operating hours changing by season and the pool closed from December onward. Staying guests can use it free of charge
• Indoor pool (year-round): A heated pool with a jacuzzi, kept at 28°C throughout the year. It can be used whatever the weather or season, and works well when you want to avoid strong sun or sunburn

Life jackets (sizes S to LL), arm helpers (children's inflatable arm bands) and goggles are available to borrow free of charge, and swim diapers (sold in summer only) and beach sandals are sold at the pool. The pools are for staying guests, and children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian. A roomier, roofed private cabana seat is also available for a fee, with reservation required.

There is no communal bath or onsen on the property. A separate building houses the treatment spa SEEK SPA and a fitness center.

A Generous Range of Free Rental Amenities

The hotel lists specific free rental amenities for families with young children.

• For babies and toddlers: crib, bed guard, baby bath (baby bathtub), bath bucket, children's toilet seat, step stool, adult shower chair, diaper-only trash bin, non-slip bath mat
• Baby-bottle sterilizer-dryer (you wash the bottles yourself)
• Stroller (quantities are limited, so advance notice is required)
• Also available: blankets, a thermometer, an ice pillow, an air purifier with a humidifying function, a buckwheat-husk pillow, nail clippers and a Blu-ray player
• Free amenities for children: nightwear, a bedwetting mat, a children's toothbrush, children's yukata (80 cm/110 cm in length), children's pajamas (90 cm/110 cm) and children's slippers (21 cm)

Quantities are limited for all of these, so it is safest to ask for what you need when booking or on arrival.

Baby Food, Children's Tableware and Allergy Accommodations

The restaurant can prepare a special baby food menu free of charge. You need to tell the hotel your child's age in months, how far along they are from the early to the finishing stage of weaning, and whether they have any allergies, by three days before your arrival date. Food allergies can also be accommodated.

The all-day dining restaurant Amahaji provides children's plates and cutlery. When using the buffet, dinner and breakfast are free throughout the stay for children aged 5 and under, on condition that an adult is present. The hotel also has the Italian restaurant Semare, the steak and seafood restaurant Sisuco Grill, the lobby lounge and bar Hanari, and a seasonal poolside bar.

Guest Rooms and Family-Friendly Touches

Guest rooms come as Guest Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Executive Rooms and Suites, and every room has an ocean view. For families, the hotel can set up a "Hollywood twin", with the twin beds brought together in the middle of the room, or a "Hollywood king", with two single beds pushed flush together and one extra mattress added; both are free of charge and both require advance notice. They are a useful arrangement when you are sleeping beside a child who moves around a lot at night.

Children aged 6 and over are charged the adult rate and are counted among the adults when booking. Co-sleeping is free for children aged 5 and under who need no bed and no breakfast, with up to one child aged 5 or under co-sleeping per bed. There are also plans on which co-sleeping and breakfast are free for children of junior high school age and under. There is no age restriction on staying, so everyone from babies to elementary school children can stay.

Activities, the Surrounding Area and Practical Details

Beyond marine activities such as parasailing, snorkeling, SUP and banana boat rides, the hotel can also arrange trekking, waterfall walks and yoga. There is a rental bicycle service, GREEN RIDE, as well. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is in the area, within driving distance.

Check-in is from 3 p.m. to midnight, and checkout is at 11 a.m. Parking has 220 spaces, with no reservation needed and spaces on a first-come, first-served basis, at 1,500 yen per night, up to a maximum of 4,500 yen for three nights. Information about a shared kids' room or playroom and about babysitting services is not published, so please confirm with the hotel. Note that Okinawa Prefecture plans to introduce an accommodation tax for stays from February 1, 2027 (2% of the pre-tax room rate per person per night, capped at 2,000 yen).
