forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating 4.55 out of 5 (14,028 reviews). Many guests mention how thrilled their children were with the Elmo and Sesame Street collaboration rooms, and thoughtful touches for families with small children, such as a step stool at the washbasin, also come up. Some reviews note the hotel's closeness to USJ and the view of the park from their room. On the other hand, some guests found the Elmo room a little cramped, and parents found its en-suite bathroom, a combined bath-and-toilet unit with no separate washing area, inconvenient.

Dining

Breakfast and dinner are both buffets at the restaurant Epoque, and there is no room service. The breakfast buffet is 3,300 yen for adults, 1,650 yen for elementary school children, 990 yen for children from age 4 until they start elementary school, and free for ages 3 and under. Advance reservations are recommended for the dinner buffet. Until December 21, 2026, it is 6,000 yen for adults (junior high school age and up), 2,500 yen for elementary school children, 1,000 yen for children from age 4 until they start elementary school, and free for ages 3 and under. A kids' corner with a child-sized buffet table lets children choose and serve their own food, and the dinner buffet features a daily kids' menu, such as chicken nuggets or karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken). Baby chairs, small spoons and forks, and divided plates are available if you ask the restaurant staff. With the Family Support Plan for the dinner buffet, booked through the restaurant's website, one child of elementary school age or younger eats free per adult (for a limited time, until December 21, 2026). Because the restaurant is buffet-style, food allergies are handled only by providing ingredient information, and substitute dishes are not offered. The kitchen and tableware are shared with the regular menu.

Baths

There is no communal bath, private-hire bath or onsen. The Premium Corner Room on the top floor, the Deluxe Corner Room and the Superior Room have a separate layout, with a bathroom that has its own washing area and a toilet in its own space. On room-only plans for the Casual Room (Twin), up to 2 children may co-sleep per room, and on room-only plans where the hotel chooses the room, up to 1 per room. Room rates are set by the number of beds, whether the guests are adults or children. Babies and young children stay free if they use no bedding or meals. Babies and young children who use bedding are charged 100% of the adult rate, and on these plans elementary school children are also charged 100% of the adult rate. The Holiday Kids Free Plan is a dedicated plan for park admission dates (check-in dates) from November 13 to December 30, 2026. If you show a Holiday Kids Free Pass, sold separately, the room charge for one child from age 4 through elementary school age is free per adult.
