A rental car is recommended for getting around the island: buses stop running early and taxis are few, so at some times of day it can be difficult to arrange transport. Kobohama Beach is about a 15-minute walk away. Parking is available for 5 cars at 1,000 yen per night, including tax, and requires a reservation.
