Overview
Nishiura Onsen Ginpaso is a seaside ryokan at Nishiura Onsen in Gamagori, Aichi, where every room looks out over Mikawa Bay. Alongside the natural hot spring communal baths and open-air bath, there are private-hire open-air baths on the top floor. Up to 5 guests can co-sleep, and there is no facility fee for children ages 0 to 1. For children ages 2 to 5 who do not need meals or futon bedding, a facility fee of 3,300 yen applies. The teppan dining restaurant also serves a kids' plate for younger children.
Rooms
Guest rooms looking out over Mikawa Bay include 10- to 12-tatami Japanese-style tatami rooms in the main building, Kaibou, for 1 to 5 guests; 10- to 12-tatami Japanese-style tatami rooms in the new wing, Tenyu, for 2 to 5 guests; and 10-tatami Japanese-style tatami rooms in the detached Kochuan, for 2 to 4 guests. Guest rooms are non-smoking, and smokers use the designated smoking area. Rooms with their own open-air bath are limited to the Kochuan and Tenyu suites. Each room has a bathroom with a washlet toilet, a refrigerator, a safe and a hair dryer, and amenities include towels, bath towels, toothbrushes and yukata.

Both dinner and breakfast are served at the dining venue, and guests cannot choose the location. The standard plans feature kaiseki cuisine made with ingredients selected from the rich fishing grounds of Mikawa Bay. At the teppan dining restaurant Ao, guests can enjoy teppanyaki with a choice of three courses, and children ages 2 to 5 are served a kids' plate. Parties of 3 or more are seated at tables, and guests dining with children need to give the number of children and their ages. For food allergies, the ryokan does what it can when notified at least 3 days in advance, but it cannot accommodate gluten allergies, guests who need an EpiPen, guests who have experienced anaphylactic shock or other severe symptoms, or vegan diets. The onsen is an alkaline simple spring low in salt and calcium, also known as bijin no yu (the beauty bath) and bihakusen (the skin-brightening spring). It is said to be beneficial for neuralgia, rheumatism, muscle pain, fatigue, women's ailments, gastrointestinal complaints and sensitivity to cold. There are 2 communal baths and 1 open-air bath. The top floor has 2 private-hire open-air baths, available at 1,100 yen per person including tax for 50 minutes.
