forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating: 4.38 out of 5 (1,915 reviews). Guests mention the Japanese-style tatami rooms where you can take your shoes off, and one family reported feeling at ease staying with a 1-year-old. Families praise the variety at breakfast, which even a junior high school-age child enjoyed choosing from. On the other hand, some guests found sleeping three in a king-size bed - two adults plus a co-sleeping child - a little cramped.

Guest rooms are on floors 9 through 27, all non-smoking and at least 30 sq m. The Hilton Room King/Twin is 30 sq m for 1 to 3 guests, with one bed 180 cm wide by 200 cm long; when 3 guests stay, an extra bed (100 x 190 cm) is added. The Double Bed Family Deluxe (30 sq m), which has 2 large beds, sleeps up to 4 guests including 2 children co-sleeping. The Japanese-style tatami suites on floors 10 to 12 (60 sq m) consist of two connected tatami rooms, one of 6 mats and one of 8 mats, and use futon bedding, which makes them easy to use for families with small children. They sleep up to 4 guests. Connecting rooms joined by an interior door are also available, but numbers are limited, so please inquire in advance.

Dining

Breakfast is a buffet at InPlace 3-3 on the first floor, with more than 80 Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes served from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (until 10:30 a.m. on weekends and public holidays). Kids' chairs, cutlery, plates and cups are provided for children, though numbers are limited. Menu tags at the buffet counters indicate the use of six specified allergenic ingredients: crustaceans, dairy, egg, wheat, buckwheat and nuts. Breakfast is 4,500 yen for adults and 2,500 yen for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children ages 0 to 5. Note that for co-sleeping children ages 6 to 12, a separate meal charge applies even on plans that include meals.

Pool and Fitness

The indoor pool at the seventh-floor fitness center is free for staying guests. It is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with last admission at 8:30 p.m., and measures 15 m long by 5 m wide. There is no children's pool. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or over, and children shorter than 140 cm may use the pool only if a guardian gets into the water with them. The sauna likewise requires a guardian for children under 17. Use of the gym is limited to ages 17 and over. There is no onsen, communal bath or private-hire bath on the property.
