About 43 minutes from JR Omihachiman Station on the Omi Railway bus bound for Kyukamura (no service on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays), or by shuttle bus, departing the station's north exit at 3:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Free parking for 500 cars. Kyukamura Omihachiman is a public lodge inside Biwako Quasi-National Park, made up of the West Building and the East Building, which stand about 300 m apart, a 5-minute walk.
