About 43 minutes from JR Omihachiman Station by Omi Railway bus bound for Kyukamura (no service on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays), or use the shuttle bus (departing the station's north exit at 3:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m., and 6:00 p.m.). Free parking for 500 cars. Kyukamura Omihachiman is a public lodge inside Biwako Quasi-National Park, made up of the West Building and East Building (about 300 m apart, a 5-minute walk).
