Kamenoi Hotel Aso

A hands-on kids' park where children learn about the nature and the diversity of living things in Aso while they play. It is laid out as four age-based spaces: an active area (ages 4 to 7, with a slide, foam Jenga and more), a pretend-play area (ages 1 to 6), a baby area (under age 1) and a picture book corner. Original touches include the hotel's own telephone-based mission experience ASO PHONE, where children visit four kinds of handsets - a ball handset, a block handset, a button handset and a radio handset - to collect secret words, as well as a chair that grows a tail when you sit on it.

The Kids Terrace Room is a 63 sq m room for up to 6 guests, themed on the outdoors of the forest, with a terrace leading directly onto the lawn area for outdoor play. The Kumamon Room, where Kumamon in a chef's outfit greets you, comes in three types: Fours, Triple and Queen.

Natural hot spring water from the hotel's own source, containing silica (metasilicic acid) at 142.0 mg/L and meeting the standard for "beauty water." The renovated open-air baths alternate between men and women, so you can enjoy the Western-style and Japanese-style baths on alternating days. There is also a dry sauna, a mist sauna, a natural onsen mud pack, a shampoo bar where you can choose from several brands, and a space to cool down and unwind.

A buffet built around the flavors of Kumamoto, starting with akaushi beef. At the kids' corner, Kumamon in a chef's outfit greets you, and there is a good selection of dishes for children.

Yukata and bedding for young children can also be provided.
