Rooms
Every guest room is a detached dome, divided among three areas: the Village Zone, the Royal Zone and the Dream Zone. The Village Zone lies in forest surrounded by the magnificent nature of Aso, and although there are more than 300 units, each room has its own look and feel. The grounds are large, so guests who have difficulty walking are asked to get in touch in advance. The Royal Zone has a gate and a private garden, and it is relatively close to the front desk, the restaurants and the onsen and bathing facilities. The Dream Zone has 26 dome-shaped rooms themed around characters such as dinosaurs, a soccer ball and a house up in the trees, and it sits a little apart from the other accommodation zones. Rooms in the Dream Zone have an air purifier. There are 38 sq m rooms with a bath and toilet, and capacities range from doubles for 1 to 2 guests to Japanese tatami-style rooms for 4 to 6 guests. In the Royal Zone guests can move the beds themselves, but in the Western-style rooms of the Village Zone the beds cannot be moved.
Dining
Meals are normally a breakfast and dinner buffet at Big Farm, a restaurant for staying guests only. It serves a healthy buffet built on vegetables the property grows itself and locally sourced ingredients. Guests with food allergies can be accommodated as far as possible, and are asked to give the details directly to the property when booking.
Baths and Onsen
The Aso Health Volcano Onsen is a bathing complex covering 1,000 tsubo (about 3,300 sq m) each for men and women. The airy open-air bath area has a 150 m wooden walkway, and there are 15 different bathing styles to try. The spring water is a sulfate spring containing a triple-mineral combination of magnesium, sodium and calcium, and it is said to be beneficial for conditions including arteriosclerosis and skin problems. The changing-room lockers need a 100-yen coin, which is returned after use. A bathing tax of 150 yen per person applies separately for junior high school students and older. Children's yukata are available to borrow at the front desk.

There are no barrier-free rooms, and extra beds are not available in the guest rooms. Accommodation charges apply to children from age 4, and children ages 3 and under co-sleep free of charge.
