Overview

Hotel Ercellane Osaka is a city hotel with non-smoking guest rooms throughout, connected by underground mall to JR Osaka Station, Kitashinchi Station and Nishi-Umeda Station. Rooms range from the 21.7 sq m Standard Twin to the 60.8 sq m Royal Suite, and children who have not yet started elementary school co-sleep with an adult free of charge. There is no communal bath, onsen or private-hire bath, and no children's pajamas or toothbrushes are provided. Breakfast is a Japanese-Western buffet, and meals accommodating allergies can be arranged.

Rooms

The hotel has 8 room types, ranging from the low 20s to the low 60s in square meters. The Standard Twin is 21.7 sq m, with two single beds measuring 105 cm wide by 205 cm long. The Double is 21.7 sq m, with a 160 cm-wide queen bed and a sofa. The Semi-Double is 20.7 sq m. The Corner Twin is 36.4 sq m, the Deluxe Twin 44.1 sq m, the Junior Suite 58.1 sq m and the Royal Suite 60.8 sq m; in these four types the bathroom and the toilet are in separate rooms. The Junior Suite sleeps 1 to 4 guests. For three guests, the sofa in a twin or double room converts to a sofa bed, while the Junior Suite takes an extra bed instead.

Dining

Breakfast is a Japanese-Western buffet served at Cafe Terrace Ginmokusei on the first floor, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. It costs 3,300 yen per person including tax, rising to 3,850 yen including tax during the Obon period and the New Year holidays. The Japanese restaurant Katsura on the sixth floor serves kaiseki (a multi-course Japanese meal) and other courses at lunch and dinner, and is closed every Wednesday. Room service is not available. Meals for older guests and meals accommodating allergies can also be arranged.

Baths

There is no communal bath, onsen, open-air bath or private-hire bath, so bathing is in your guest room only. In four room types - the Corner Twin, Deluxe Twin, Junior Suite and Royal Suite - the bathroom and the toilet are in separate rooms.

Family-friendly features

Children who have not yet started elementary school, meaning children under 6, co-sleep free of charge, with up to one child per adult; no bedding or meals are provided.
