Ten minutes from Ishigaki Island, its freestanding villas with red Ryukyu-tile roofs stand side by side, and the 48 villas let you settle into island time. Rooms
Each guest room is a freestanding villa. Of the 48 villas, 28 are Western-style rooms with wood flooring and 20 are Japanese-style tatami rooms. Kyangi, the Japanese-style tatami type, is 53 sq m and sleeps 1 to 2 guests. It has two beds measuring 121 cm wide by 200 cm long, with Ryukyu tatami laid across the whole room. Gajoni, a Western-style double, is 59 sq m and sleeps 1 to 2 guests; it features a king-size bed and a bathtub in the middle of the room. Zuki, also Western-style, is a 59 sq m triple that sleeps 1 to 3 guests. Children under 12 can co-sleep, up to the room's capacity. A co-sleeping child with no meals and no bedding stays free of charge, and should be registered as "infant/toddler, no meals, no bedding" when you book.

Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (last order), with a choice of four Japanese and Western options: the Island Nine-Dish Breakfast, a fresh take on traditional jubako (tiered lacquer box) cuisine; the Yushi Tofu Rice Porridge Breakfast; the Sea Breeze Breakfast, built around bouillabaisse; and the Cereal Breakfast, made with grains long enjoyed on the island. Breakfast is 4,961 yen for adults (aged 7 and over) and 2,614 yen for children aged 4 to 6. The course dinner Shima Terroir requires a reservation, and children aged 11 and under can choose either the same course as adults (18,150 yen) or the kids' menu (2,000 yen). Meals for a co-sleeping child must be reserved by phone. Commercially prepared baby food by age in months is available at 605 yen per item. You are free to bring your own, but the resort does not warm it. The last ferry is often canceled due to wind and waves, so guests are advised to consider boarding by 5 p.m. There is no parking. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 12 p.m.
