Rooms are divided from one another by a single fusuma sliding door, and the bathroom and toilet are shared. Rooms come in four sizes: 3 tatami mats for 1 guest, 4.5 tatami mats for 2, 5.5 tatami mats for 3 and 9 tatami mats for 4, so you can pick one to suit the size of your family. Air conditioning costs extra, at 100 yen per 90 minutes. The shared shower rooms are stocked with shampoo and body soap. All rooms are non-smoking, and smoking is allowed only in the courtyard.
Dining
Meals are served in the dining room, which is laid out so that guests see one another over their food. Dinner is normally at 6 p.m. and breakfast at 8 a.m., and the kitchen serves Okinawan-style home cooking made with local ingredients, changing daily. A shuttle is arranged to match the departure times of Yaeyama Kanko Ferry; if you travel on another company's boat, the shuttle cannot meet you on time and you will have to wait at the port. There is no shuttle for sailings earlier than 9:30 a.m. or for sailings around noon. There is no parking.
