Rooms and kitchens that work for families

Villas come in two types: one bedroom and two bedrooms. The two-bedroom type also includes a Japanese-style tatami room, a reassuring space for crawling-age babies and for larger family groups. Every villa has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and cooking utensils, and a water server, coffee machine and mixer or blender are available to borrow, so preparing baby food and children's meals is straightforward.

A generous range of children's items to borrow

Another real draw is how much is available to borrow for children: a bouncer, Bumbo seat, baby chair, toilet-training seat, diaper bin, playpen and sand-play set. Even a trip with a baby, which usually means a lot of luggage, can be made lighter. Ask at the front desk for these items.

The beach out front, and the pool

The adjoining Hakuai Waiwai Beach, spread out right in front of the villas, is a quiet setting that feels much like a private beach. It is also known as a place where you may come across sea turtles, and together with the sand-play set to borrow, it suits sand play and waterside play for small children. The pool has deck chairs and tables, so the whole family can settle in and take their time.

Dining and access

There is no restaurant on site. For meals you can choose between cooking in your villa's kitchen, takeout, a barbecue on the terrace (electric grill rental, 3,000 yen), or a visiting chef (reservation required at least 4 days in advance). The villas are about 15-20 minutes by car from Miyako Airport, and parking for 1 to 2 cars per villa is free. Check-in is at 2 p.m. (last check-in 7 p.m.) and checkout is at 10 a.m.
