Many have a limited number, and some limit them to babies under 1 year old (Namba Oriental Hotel allows babies age 0 who are not yet walking). Terms vary by hotel and room: Namba Oriental Hotel charges a fee and offers cots only in rooms of 32 m² or larger, and LIBER HOTEL OSAKA cannot place a cot in its Spacious rooms. Plan to request one and confirm when you book. Kid-friendly amenities also differ. The wording on a hotel's official site and the plan description on Rakuten do not always match. Some hotels also attach conditions to "free co-sleeping." At Hotel Universal Port, for example, only infants without meals or bedding are free, and an infant who uses meals or bedding is charged the adult rate (conditions vary by plan). At Hotel Kintetsu Universal City, some plans, such as the casual twin room without meals, charge 100% of the adult rate for an infant who uses bedding. Conditions change from plan to plan, so check the fine print in the plan details before you book. The free age limit also differs by hotel. It is under school age at The Park Front Hotel, Hotel Keihan Universal Tower, Oriental Hotel Universal City, Hotel Kintetsu Universal City, and LIBER HOTEL OSAKA; age 5 and under at Namba Oriental Hotel; and elementary school age and under at Centara Grand Hotel Osaka.
