Dinner is served at the adjoining restaurant Komegura, a course menu that makes the most of Akita ingredients. Breakfast is delivered to your room as a bento: a Japanese-style breakfast made with Akita-grown rice and miso from Ando Jozo, which you can take your time over in the room. If you would like a kids' menu at dinner, it can be arranged at 4,000 yen off the adult rate.
Baths
Every room has a bath with its own character, with careful attention to materials and furnishings, so you can enjoy your time in the water without leaving the room. The tub in Gakko-gura takes its shape from a pickling barrel, and in spring you can view the cherry blossoms from the bathroom itself. The in-room baths are not onsen.
