Set in the heart of Toyako Onsen, this is a large ryokan with 243 rooms spread across the Central, East and West buildings. Room types range widely, from Japanese-style tatami rooms to Western-style rooms. Children aged 3 and over who have not yet started elementary school stay at 50% of the adult rate, and elementary school children at 70%. The communal baths are equipped with baby baths and baby beds, and the Central Building also has a kids' space and a nursing room open 24 hours, making it an easy place to stay with young children.

The hotel is spread across the Central, East and West buildings, with 243 rooms in total, all of them non-smoking. The Central Building Lake View Twin is a 27 sq m twin room for 1 to 2 guests, with two beds measuring 120 cm wide by 200 cm long. The Central Building Superior Twin stands out for its low beds, about 20 cm high. It sleeps up to 3 guests, and the beds can be moved together to make a king-size bed. The West and East buildings also have Japanese-style tatami rooms and Japanese-Western rooms, including rooms for up to 5 guests that combine futon bedding with twin beds. The beds do not come with bed guards, so for small children the hotel recommends futon bedding, or the Central Building Superior Twin with its low beds that are easy to move.

Dinner and breakfast are served at the buffet restaurant: dinner from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Breakfast offers about 80 Japanese and Western dishes, including a kids' menu. If you would rather have Japanese cuisine, you can also choose Shunsai Wabo Nanakamado, a semi-private dining area with partitions between the seats. With the Japanese kaiseki set meal or a banquet meal, a kids' plate can be prepared, and food allergies can be accommodated if you let the hotel know at least 3 days before your stay. Children's rates apply to bookings of 2 or more adults per room; if 1 adult is booked with 1 child, the child is charged the same as the adult rate. Elementary school children pay 70% of the adult rate. Children aged 3 and over who have not yet started elementary school pay 50%, and must be booked with meals and futon bedding. For children aged 0 to 2, the rate is 30% of the adult rate with futon bedding only, and if neither meals nor futon bedding are needed, a facility entry fee of 1,100 yen applies.
Baths and Onsen
There are two communal baths, Tsuki-no-Yu on the first basement floor and Hoshi-no-Yu on the top floor, and they alternate between men and women. The spring water is a sodium-calcium chloride spring. Both baths are equipped with a baby bath, a baby bath chair and a baby bed, along with free small lockers with keys. Guests who are heavily intoxicated and guests with tattoos are refused entry to the baths, so it is worth checking in advance.

Parking for about 100 cars is free for staying guests, with no reservation needed. A shuttle bus to and from Sapporo Station also makes one round trip a day, but it is reservation-only and paid (1,100 yen one way), so you need to book it in advance. If you would like to check out after 10 a.m., please consult the hotel in advance.
