Overview
Royal View Hotel Churaumi is a resort hotel a 5-minute walk from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and a 3-minute walk from Emerald Beach. It has an outdoor garden pool and the Kids Park with its large inflatable play equipment, along with family services such as cribs, strollers and baby baths available to borrow, plus children's pajamas. The breakfast buffet is free for children who have not yet started elementary school. Please note that the main building has no elevator and some rooms are reached by stairs.
Rooms
The main building and the annex together offer 7 room types. The Standard Twin is 28.5 sq m with two beds measuring 120 cm wide by 200 cm long, for 1-4 guests. For 3 or 4 guests, an extra bed or a sofa bed is added. The Standard Twin Ocean is the same 28.5 sq m, sits on the 2nd and 3rd floors with an ocean view, and takes the same 1-4 guests as the Standard Twin. The Standard Twin Garden Pool, on the 1st floor, is laid out so you can step straight from the terrace to the garden pool and back. The 57 sq m Ocean Family Room has bunk beds: up to 4 guests use the bunk beds, and sofa beds are added for the 5th and 6th guests, so it sleeps up to 6 and suits families and groups. The Standard Twin Garden opens directly onto a garden thick with tropical plants and is recommended for families as a room where children can spread out and relax. The annex's Superior Terrace Twin and Deluxe Terrace Twin have a shower only and no bathtub, so please keep that in mind if you plan to bathe a small child. The Deluxe Terrace Twin also has a mini kitchen and a front-loading washing machine.
Dining
Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Irikai, the restaurant in the main building. It is a buffet where you can choose freely from Japanese dishes, Western dishes and a small selection of Okinawan dishes. Depending on the booking situation, the buffet may be changed to a Japanese-Western set menu. Children under school age eat free of charge. Dinner is served only during limited periods such as Golden Week, the New Year holidays and the summer season.
