forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating 4.13 out of 5 (935 reviews). A family traveling with children aged 4 and 9 wrote that their stay went "without any problems", and guests also praise receiving children's amenities. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and guests say their children enjoyed the bread. On the other hand, the women's communal bath has only 3 washing stations and 6 changing baskets, so there can be a wait at busy times; it seems best to allow plenty of time for bathing.

Family-Friendly Features

If a child co-sleeps beyond the room's capacity, the co-sleeping charge is 2,000 yen per elementary school child, including tax, and free for children under school age. According to the information for the Early Bird 30 and Early Bird 10 plans on Ikyu.com (a Japanese booking site), children co-sleeping beyond capacity are not included in the guest count when you search for availability, and should be noted in the comments field instead. That same Ikyu.com information gives the number of co-sleeping children both as "up to 1" and as "1 additional per bed", so if 2 or more children will co-sleep, please confirm with the hotel before booking.
