Rooms

There are 18 guest rooms, including rooms with an open-air bath, Japanese-style tatami rooms, Japanese-Western rooms and Western-style rooms. The 12-tatami Japanese-style tatami room sleeps up to 5 guests, has no bath of its own, and is laid out with futon bedding. The Japanese-Western study room Futarishizuka sleeps up to 5 guests with an 8-tatami Japanese-style room plus a 6-tatami bedroom; the bedroom has two France Bed single beds, and futon bedding is prepared for parties of 3 or more. Yukiguri, a room built around a hearth, sleeps up to 3 guests and has a hearth area plus a bedroom, though no fire can be lit in the hearth for safety reasons. The nap room Buna sleeps up to 5 guests with a Japanese-style room plus a bedroom. The Japanese-style twin is a 22 sq m twin room with an 8-tatami Japanese-style area and a toilet, sleeping up to 3 guests; its two beds each measure 97 cm wide by 195 cm long by 60 cm high, and because of the building's structure the toilet is a small space. Among the Shinano-tei rooms with an onsen bath, Ginka, Fukashiyama and Mizu no Oto each sleep up to 5 guests; Sakura no Iro also sleeps up to 5 and combines an 8-tatami Japanese-style room, an 8-tatami bedroom and a 3-tatami Japanese-style room with an onsen bath; Rikka sleeps up to 5 with an open-air onsen bath and a living room holding three Simmons single beds; Sekka sleeps up to 3; and Yu no Ka sleeps up to 2. Children are limited to 2 per room, and some room types cannot take them. There is an elevator, but some room types are reached by stairs, and Shinano-tei Sakura no Iro is reached by climbing the stairs to the second floor, with no elevator. Whether cribs or bed guards are available has not been confirmed.
