Dinner and breakfast are served at Kodoan. There are table seats and private Japanese-style rooms: 6 rooms with sunken-floor (horigotatsu) seating, 13 tatami seats and 3 rooms with table seating. Baths and Onsen
Shirahama Onsen is counted among Japan's three oldest hot springs and its three great onsen destinations. The onsen here is a sodium chloride-bicarbonate spring, 100% natural onsen flowing directly from the source, with no artificial hot-spring water. There is no communal bath; instead, parents and children can take their time bathing in the open-air bath in every room. A bathing tax of 150 yen per adult applies separately.
