Breakfast is a handmade Japanese and Western buffet with a daily changing menu built around ingredients produced in Fukaya, served from 6:30 to 9:45 a.m. Dinner can be eaten at the dining area inside the adjoining natural onsen facility Bihada no Yu, open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays (last order 8:30 p.m.) and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (last order 9:30 p.m.). The Shokuyoku plan, which includes dinner, lets you choose from set meals, rice bowls, noodle dishes and more, but dinner is not included for co-sleeping children.

Baths and Onsen

Guests can use the adjoining day-use natural onsen Bihada no Yu, which has 10 types of baths and 2 types of saunas. It is open from 7 a.m. to midnight, with last admission at 11:30 p.m. The source is the Kokuzaiji Onsen, drawn from about 1,134 m underground. It is rich in sodium bicarbonate and metasilicic acid, which help balance the skin's outer layer and keep it moisturized. The open-air bath has two jar baths (tsubo-yu). The indoor baths include a high-concentration carbonated bath and a jet bath, and onsen water is used for the showers as well. The two saunas are a Rocky sauna at about 90 °C and a salt sauna.

Family-friendly features

Children who have not yet started elementary school can stay by co-sleeping. Bedding and amenities are not included for them, but breakfast is. Room capacity counts babies and young children as well, so a booking cannot exceed the stated number of guests. Children's rates are set depending on the room.
