Jozankei Onsen Nukumori no Yado Furukawa

On the special Tsukihoshi floor, the family Japanese-Western rooms (rooms 705 and 706) sleep 6 guests in 54 sq m. Each has 2 beds 120 cm wide, a 10-tatami Japanese-style room and a twin bedroom. Humidifiers are installed in some rooms only, not in every room.

The kids' meal (3,300 yen) and baby food (800 yen) are handmade, and children's jinbei (a two-piece summer outfit) are available to borrow. Allergy accommodation is possible with advance notice. An okuizome set, a meal for a baby's first-meal ceremony, costs 5,000 yen. If your party includes children under elementary school age, you will be seated at Senjikian rather than at Kochuten, the private dining room on the Tsukihoshi floor. Room service is not available. The ryokan's guidance for groups says a large private banquet room can be prepared depending on availability, so please confirm before booking whether a private room is possible. Breakfast-included plans do not include dinner.

The private-hire baths are on the 5th and 6th floors and cost 2,200 yen per room for 50 minutes. They can be used from noon to midnight and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the ryokan presents them as baths you can enter together with your children. Portable chairs and children's items are also available to borrow for the private-hire baths; please request them when you book.

The Deluxe Twin with Onsen (rooms 702 and 703, sleeping 4, 54 sq m) has its own in-room onsen bath. Rooms 702 and 703 are on the special Tsukihoshi floor and have 2 beds 120 cm wide. Children of elementary school age and under are asked to refrain from using Yumemi, the basement open-air bath. The bathing tax is 150 yen for adults and free for ages 0 to 11.

On the Hokkaido Residents Discount plan, babies and young children are 6,600 yen with meals and 3,300 yen without meals. On the Breakfast-Included plan, babies and young children cannot be booked with meals, and without meals the rate is 3,300 yen. No crib or baby futon rental is stated, so please confirm with the ryokan how the "with bedding" option works for babies and young children. There is no childcare service, and there is no indoor or outdoor pool.

The Jozan no Mori Night Lounge is at the sister property Kokoro no Sato Jozan. It is open from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., free for staying guests, and children are welcome during these hours too. At the outdoor activity base Friluftsliv, river play is for ages 1 and up, from 5,500 yen for adults and from 4,500 yen for children, and outdoor play and crafts are for ages 3 and up, from 1,500 yen. There are rooms for wheelchair users, and wheelchairs are available to borrow.
