There is also an accessible single room built without steps so that guests can move around it in a wheelchair; this room can only be booked by telephone. Among the 155 single rooms, some are on floors that have a smoking corner.
Dining
Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet, included at no charge for staying guests and served from 6:30 to 9 a.m. It includes freshly baked butter croissants, mini mocha swirls and a European bread of the day. The restaurant serving dinner is in a separate building on the hotel grounds: Seafood Dining Mikura, open from 5 p.m. Mikura has semi-private seating, which suits families who would rather eat without worrying about other diners.
Baths
The communal baths are the natural onsen Tabibito no Yu, separate for men and women, on the first floor of the hotel. They are open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and from 5 to 10 a.m. The water is diluted and heated, and is circulated and filtered. The men's communal bath has an open-air bath and a cold-water bath. The sauna is also available to men only and holds about 6 people. The entrance to the women's communal bath is kept locked, and guests pick up the key at check-in or at another time. There is no private-hire bath, so when bathing with a young child you will use either the gender-separated communal bath or the bathroom in your own room, which has a bathtub and toilet.
Family-friendly features
Co-sleeping applies to children of elementary school age and younger: 2,000 yen including tax for elementary school children, and free for children who have not yet started elementary school. These rates apply only when the room's capacity is exceeded; if a room for 2 guests is used by 1 adult and 1 elementary school child or 1 child under school age, the charge is for 2 adults. Children co-sleeping beyond the room capacity should not be included in the availability search, and must be noted in the comments field when booking.
