The Shinmanyokan, Shoyokan, Shosenkan and Hishokan wings offer a broad range of room types to match how you travel, whether as a family, a married couple, a couple, a girls' getaway or a trip across three generations. There are Japanese-style tatami rooms, Western-style rooms, Japanese-Western rooms and special rooms. The choice best suited to families is the Japanese-Western room (in Shosenkan, a 10-mat Japanese-style tatami room plus a Western-style room, 10 rooms), which sleeps up to 7 guests and is also used for three-generation stays. The other options are 10-mat Japanese-style tatami rooms (Shinmanyokan, 24 rooms, sleeping 5), 12.5-mat Japanese-style tatami rooms (Shoyokan, 20 rooms, sleeping 6), Japanese-style tatami rooms of 8 to 10 mats with an entry alcove (Hishokan, 26 rooms, sleeping 4 to 5), Japanese-style tatami rooms combined with a Western-style room (Hishokan, 3 rooms, sleeping 4), 22 sq m Western-style rooms with an en-suite bathroom (Shoyokan, 7 rooms, sleeping 2) and Western-style twin rooms (Hishokan, 9 rooms, sleeping 2). At the top of the range, the Special VIP Suite has a 10-mat Japanese-style tatami room, a tea room and a view onsen bath (3 rooms, sleeping 7); 2 of these rooms have a hinoki cypress tub in their bathroom and 1 has a ceramic tub. Room equipment includes a hair dryer, a humidifier (in the special rooms only), a television, a safe and a toilet with a washing function, and humidifiers are also available to borrow.
