The non-smoking Twin Room 【30 sq m】 sleeps 1-3 guests and has two beds measuring 120 cm wide by 210 cm long plus one bed measuring 120 cm wide by 195 cm long; when 3 guests stay, an extra bed is used. The non-smoking Maisonette 【44 sq m】 is a twin room with a loft that looks out on Hakkoda-Odake, the main peak of the Hakkoda range, and sleeps up to 3 guests. Dining
For dinner you can choose between a full-course French dinner at the restaurant MeDeau and a Japanese kaiseki meal at the Japanese restaurant Kanmizu. The Japanese and Western dinners are served in separate venues, so everyone in a group needs to choose the same one. At breakfast, each guest can choose Japanese or Western, and different menus can be ordered at the same table. Food allergies must be reported in advance, and the hotel cannot accommodate allergies to seafood in general, dashi stock, wheat flour or dairy products, nor vegan or vegetarian requests. MeDeau has a smart-casual dress code: casual clothing such as sweats, shorts and sandals is not allowed, and neither is yukata, so children's clothing needs the same attention. At Kanmizu, guests may dine in yukata.
Baths and Onsen
The communal bath, scented with Aomori hiba wood, is separated by gender, and its large windows look out on the beech forest. The water flows directly from the hotel's own spring source; strongly acidic at pH 1.2, it is colorless and clear. A dry sauna adjoins the communal bath, and the cold plunge bath uses Hakkoda subterranean water. After bathing, natural water for rehydration and bite-sized ice cream are available free of charge. There is no private-hire bath. Staying guests receive a free bathing pass for the sister property Sukayu Onsen and can use the scheduled shuttle by asking at the front desk. The communal bath at Sukayu Onsen, Hiba Sennin-buro, is a mixed-gender bath.

Children's rates are 16,500 yen for upper-grade elementary school children and 13,200 yen for lower-grade elementary school children. The number of meals served to children follows the meal conditions of the plan booked. There are no indoor or outdoor pools and no childcare service. The Special Room (Japanese-Western room) uses futon bedding, making it easy to sleep side by side with a young child. Because the dinner venue MeDeau has a dress code, children's clothing needs attention there.

The hotel sits at an elevation of about 900 m within Towada-Hachimantai National Park. It is about 50 minutes by car from Aomori Airport, about 60 minutes by car from JR Aomori Station, and about 45 minutes from the Aomori-Chuo Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. A free shuttle bus runs from Shin-Aomori Station, departing at 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., with reservations required by the day before. Free parking is available for 50 cars. Some roads are closed during the winter season, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle fitted with studless tires is recommended for the journey.
