Children normally stay by co-sleeping: single-bed types such as Double and Queen rooms take 2 adults plus 1 co-sleeping child, and two-bed types such as Twin rooms take 2 adults plus 2 co-sleeping children. Co-sleeping is free from age 0 to under 2, costs 3,000 yen from age 3 through elementary school, and junior high school students and older pay the adult rate. If a child of elementary school age or younger needs a bed of their own, the adult rate applies; no additional beds or bed guards are available. If dry air is a concern, a humidifier is available to borrow.
Dining
Breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with last entry at 9 a.m., at Global Kitchen HATAGO, the second-floor restaurant. It is a Japanese and Western buffet for staying guests only, laid out with fine Kochi dishes such as katsuo no tataki (seared bonito). Children's breakfast rates are free for ages 2 and under, 1,000 yen from age 3 through elementary school, and 2,000 yen for adults. The restaurant has baby chairs available to borrow free of charge, but numbers are limited, so a request may not always be met. In the kitchen, the same cooking utensils and oil are used for ingredients that contain the 9 specified allergenic ingredients, so please note that it is difficult to accommodate individual allergy requests. In the evening, a soy sauce-based Yonaki Soba (late-night noodle soup) is served free of charge from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Baths and Onsen
Konpeki no Yu, the natural onsen communal bath on the second floor with separate baths for men and women, is filled with water brought in from Nagaoka Onsen in neighboring Nankoku. It is a sodium chloride onsen, classified as a hypotonic alkaline hot spring. There is an indoor bath, an outdoor cooling-off area, a cold-water bath and a high-temperature sauna with a TV, open from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning; the sauna alone is closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. There is no private-hire bath, only the men's and women's communal baths, so mixed bathing is in principle allowed only up to age 6. You cannot bathe together with a child of the opposite sex older than that. Putting towels in the tubs and wearing swimsuits are not permitted, and guests with tattoos cannot use the baths.
Family-Friendly Features
Children's slippers and roomwear are provided in the guest rooms at no charge. A charge applies for co-sleeping children from age 3, so it is worth checking the child conditions of your plan when you book. If you would like to extend your checkout, it can be arranged at 1,000 yen per person per hour, until 1 p.m. at the latest.

The hotel is a 12-minute walk from the South Exit of JR Kochi Station, a 2-minute walk from the Horizume tram stop on Tosaden Kotsu, and a 5-minute walk from the Hasuikemachi-dori tram stop. From Kochi Ryoma Airport it is about 25 minutes by car, or about 25 minutes by airport bus, getting off at Kita-Harimayabashi and walking about 5 minutes. The hotel has no parking of its own, so guests use the affiliated parking lots nearby.
