DEL style Nagoya Nayabashi by Daiwa Roynet Hotel

forumWhat families say

Rakuten Travel rating 4.4 out of 5 (2,860 reviews). Guests praise the connecting rooms and the many rooms with a separate bath and toilet, which make the hotel easy to use for family stays. They also value being able to borrow disposable chopsticks and spoons, and to use a microwave and ice, all free of charge, which makes it easy to eat in the room with children. The welcome ice cream on arrival is another hit with children. On the other hand, some guests reported that the water in the communal bath was too hot and their children did not like it.

DEL style Nagoya Nayabashi by Daiwa Roynet Hotel is a stylish hotel about a 7-minute walk from Fushimi subway station in Nagoya, designed around a New York concept. Every room has an airweave mattress to support a comfortable stay. Children of elementary school age and under can co-sleep free of charge, up to one child per bed. Cribs for children under 1 are available to borrow (advance reservation required, limited number), and children are given slippers and a toothbrush. The communal baths are split between floors: the men's bath on the 1st floor and the women's bath on the 14th floor.

Rooms

Guest rooms are designed around a white-and-blue palette, and every room has an airweave bed mattress. The Standard Double (bath type or shower type, 15.3 sq m, 1-2 guests) has one bed 140 cm wide, but a crib cannot be set up in either version. In the Standard Twin (22.7 sq m, 1-2 guests), a crib can be set up if you reserve it in advance. The Superior Twin (27.4 sq m, 1-3 guests) has two beds 110 cm wide and sleeps up to 3 when an extra bed (95 cm x 180 cm) is used, and a crib can also be set up if reserved by the day before. Connecting rooms made up of two Standard Twins are also available and suit a party of 4. Other options include the Superior Double (24.3 sq m) with a king bed 180 cm wide, and the Universal Twin (29.16 sq m, 1-3 guests), which has no step at the bathroom and is easy to use in a wheelchair.

Dining

Breakfast is a Japanese-Western buffet served on the 1st floor at ALLY's / The SEA by ALLY's, open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., with last entry at 9:30 a.m. It costs 1,980 yen for adults (ages 11 and over) and 990 yen for children (ages 5 to 10), and is free for children ages 4 and under. A live kitchen prepares teppan omelets and French toast, and the spread also includes Nagoya specialties such as miso katsu (pork cutlet with miso sauce) and an-butter (sweet red bean paste with butter).

Baths

The men's communal bath is on the 1st floor and the women's communal bath is on the 14th floor, a women-only floor. Both are open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning and from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. They are not onsen, and there is no free-flowing spring water or cloudy spring water. Boys accompanied by a guardian may use the women's bath, and girls the men's bath, but only up to children who have not yet started elementary school. Children who are not yet out of diapers (not yet toilet-trained) are asked to refrain from bathing.

Family-friendly features
