Courtyard by Marriott Fukui is a high-rise hotel that opened in March 2024, a 2-minute walk from the west exit of JR Fukui Station. Guest rooms occupy floors 17 through 28 of the 28-story building and look out over central Fukui. Dining
The hotel has two restaurants. Substance, an all-day dining venue built around the idea of local produce for local tables, serves a varied menu from breakfast through lunch and dinner. The Japanese restaurant Fukui serves dishes made with seafood from the Sea of Japan and seasonal Fukui ingredients; it is open for lunch and dinner and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Breakfast is not complimentary and is charged separately. Room service is also available, which helps when going out for a meal with a small child is difficult. Meals accommodating allergies can be arranged, so please confirm with the hotel in advance if you have any concerns.

It has no parking of its own, so guests use a nearby pay parking lot such as the Fukumachi Block Parking (1,500 yen per night for Marriott Bonvoy members, 2,000 yen per night for non-members). That parking lot cannot take vehicles with an overall height of 2.1 m or more, or with a ground clearance of 15 cm or less. Because the hotel stands right by Fukui Station, the front desk can get busy when Shinkansen trains arrive, so families with small children may find check-in calmer if they arrive outside those times.
