The hotel has an East Wing and a Main Building, with 15 room types in all. The rooms that suit families with children are the tatami-floored Japanese-style rooms that come from the hotel's ryokan origins. They are offered in two sizes, 8 tatami mats (up to 4 guests) and 12 tatami mats (up to 5 guests), and both the East Wing and the Main Building have them. The East Wing 12-tatami Japanese-style room is offered with the futon bedding already laid out. Another option is the East Wing parent-and-child bed room, a twin of 18.6 sq m for up to 3 guests, where a slightly smaller child's bed is set into the space between two adult beds and joined to them; it is described as popular with families traveling with babies and toddlers because no gap is left between the beds. It is on the small side, though, so guests are asked not to use it as 3 adults, and when 3 beds are used the third is an extra bed (90 x 188). The dinosaur-themed Dinosaur Rooms are not in every room; they are set up in specific room types booked through the dedicated Dinosaur Room plan. Those types are the East Wing Riverge Twin (2-3 guests), the East Wing Riverge Double (2-3 guests) and the East Wing Superior Riverge Four Bed (3-5 guests), and the furnishings differ from room to room. The riverside Riverge types are 25 sq m and the Superior Riverge types are 30 sq m; the East Wing Superior Riverge Four Bed, a "Fours" (4-person/quad) room of 30 sq m fitted with four beds, adds one extra bed when 5 guests stay. The Main Building also has the Main Building Triple, popular for family and group trips of 3. A humidifying Plasmacluster air purifier is standard in every room. Nothing is stated about cribs, baby futons or bed guards.
