Dining
Breakfast is served in the first-floor restaurant Matsubayashi from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., with last entry at 8:30 a.m. It is a Japanese-Western buffet whose menu changes daily and uses local ingredients. The rice is 100% Akitakomachi grown in Akita Prefecture. Two dishes are highlighted as recommendations: chicken meatball soup simmered in Hinai-jidori chicken broth, and pork hayashi rice (a savory tomato-based stew over rice) made with fully ripened tomatoes. Dinner is not served. On weekdays only — the service is closed Saturdays and Sundays — a free daily-changing serving of curry or gyudon (beef bowl) is available from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with last entry at 8:30 p.m.
Baths and Onsen
The eighth floor has Hiten no Yu, a panoramic communal bath fed by natural onsen water, with a dry sauna in both the men's and women's sections. It is open from 4 p.m. to midnight and from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. The spring water is a sodium-calcium sulfate-chloride spring. The women's bath has a door with a security system. From Odate-Noshiro Airport it is about 30 minutes by car, or about 60 minutes by airport bus, getting off at the Suehirocho or Nagakuracho bus stop and walking about 10 minutes. For parking, guests use the contracted lot behind the hotel; staying guests park free of charge by showing their parking ticket. Large vehicles use the space beside the hotel.
