Amakusa Prince Hotel is a Japanese-style ryokan in Higashimachi, Amakusa, Kumamoto, close to the Seto Ohashi Bridge that links Amakusa's Kamishima and Shimoshima islands. The panoramic communal bath looking out over the Ariake Sea is filled with a soft artificial radium spring that is colorless, clear and odorless. Guest rooms are Japanese-style tatami rooms of 8 or 10 tatami mats, each with a toilet; the 10-mat rooms take in a sweeping view of the sea, and both types have set children's rates. Dinner is Amakusa kaiseki and similar course menus, served either in your room or in a private banquet room, and some plans include a kids' meal and children's tableware.

Guest rooms come in two types: Japanese-style tatami rooms of 8 tatami mats, and 10-tatami-mat harbor-view rooms looking out over the Ariake Sea. Neither type has a bath, and both have a toilet. The 8-mat rooms take 1 to 4 guests and the 10-mat rooms 1 to 5 guests, and both have set children's rates. Each room has a television, individually controlled air conditioning, a refrigerator, a tea set and a hot-water kettle, while an iron and a hair dryer are available to borrow. Wi-Fi is provided in every room, and since April 2026 all guest rooms have been non-smoking.

Dinner is a kaiseki course such as the Amakusa kaiseki, with appetizers, grilled dishes, fried dishes, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), a meat dish and sashimi, served either in your room or in a private banquet room.
