Overview
THE MARK GRAND HOTEL is about a 10-minute walk from Saitama-Shintoshin Station along a covered pedestrian deck, and about 30 minutes from Tokyo Station with no transfers, which makes access one of its strengths. Co-sleeping is free for children who have not yet started elementary school, and loan items such as cribs and diaper bins are available. The building also has a communal bath and an indoor pool run by a tenant operator, but these can only be used by children aged 3 and over who are out of diapers. Breakfast is a buffet with more than 70 Japanese and Western dishes.

There is no charge for sharing from the buffet, and children of elementary school age and older pay the adult rate. The restaurant entrances have no steps, but there are steps at the tatami seating in the Japanese restaurant Akigase and at some seats in the main dining room, sereno. If you have allergies or ingredients you would rather avoid, let the hotel know in advance and they will change the ingredients or dishes for you.
