The inn combines elegant Western furnishings evocative of the Taisho Roman era with the calm of a Japanese interior. Guest rooms are Japanese-style tatami rooms of 6, 8, 10 and 12 tatami mats, plus two-room connected tatami rooms of 8 plus 4, 10 plus 8, and 15 plus 6 tatami mats. Bedding is futon, and some rooms are also furnished with a single bed or a double bed. Whether a room has its own bath and toilet varies by room type, so please confirm when booking. The building is very old, and there are steps at the entrance and where the tatami begins in the rooms, so watch your footing if you have young children with you.
Dining
Dinner is not served, but there are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance, and a convenience store (FamilyMart) about 3 minutes away on foot. In the morning, a modest morning service of bread, salad, soup, coffee and tea is available free of charge in the first-floor dining room.
Baths and Onsen
Guests can enjoy Takeo Onsen's weakly alkaline simple spring water, which has a soft, moisturizing feel much like a facial toner. There is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and in June 2025 a dry sauna was newly added to both the men's and women's communal baths. Note that the changing room is on the second floor while the tubs are on the first floor, so bathing involves going up and down a flight of about 15 steps. Please take particular care when bathing with children.
Family-friendly features
Some family plans waive the usual 1,000 yen charge for a co-sleeping child and include children's amenities. For day-use bathing, children who have not yet started elementary school are free.

The inn is about an 8-minute walk from JR Takeo-Onsen Station and about 7 minutes by car from the Takeo-Kitagata Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway. There is free parking for 60 cars. The usual 10 a.m. checkout is extended by one hour, so you can stay until 11 a.m.
