Hotel Hanamizuki is a hot-spring ryokan inside Nagashima Resort in Nagashima-cho, Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. Most rooms have their own natural hot-spring bath fed by Nagashima Onsen - the exception being some economy rooms in the annex - so you can soak at leisure in your room. Close to Nagashima Spa Land and Nabana no Sato, it combines theme-park sightseeing with the calm of a hot-spring ryokan, making it well suited to families with babies and toddlers, anniversary trips and three-generation travel.

Rooms with a natural hot-spring bath, and a communal bath

Because most rooms have their own natural hot-spring bath, families with small children who are hesitant about a communal bath can still enjoy the onsen at their own pace, just the family together (some economy rooms in the annex have no room bath). The hotel also has a garden communal bath, Taki no Yu, reserved for overnight guests, so you can move from one bath to the next if you like. The water at Nagashima Onsen is an alkaline simple onsen, gentle on the skin.

Spacious tatami rooms that put parents of babies at ease

Rooms are mainly spacious Japanese-style tatami rooms, and because futon bedding is laid out on the floor, co-sleeping is easy and there is no risk of a baby or small child falling out of a bed. Meals center on kaiseki cuisine, and in-room dining can be chosen with some rooms and plans in the main building (what is available depends on the room and the plan). A dinner for children under school age can be arranged as an addition.

Access

The ryokan is at Urayasu, Nagashima-cho, Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, inside Nagashima Resort. Parking is provided on site, and access from the Nagoya area is convenient. Families can enjoy Nagashima's sights together, including Nagashima Spa Land, Nabana no Sato and Yuami no Shima.
