Hotel Select Inn Tsuruga is a business hotel about 10 minutes by car from Tsuruga IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. It has the hotel's only Japanese-style tatami room, where you can take off your shoes and settle in. Staying guests are served a special curry or a gyudon beef-over-rice bowl free of charge at dinner. On the third floor there is a coin laundry that dispenses detergent automatically. From elementary school age, children pay the same room rate as adults.
Rooms
The hotel's only Japanese-style tatami room lets you take off your shoes and relax. It is 16 sq m and sleeps up to 4 guests. Western-style rooms include a twin room (16 sq m) with two beds 110 cm wide and a triple room (20 sq m) with three. Every room has free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator and a bidet toilet. Please note that from elementary school age, children pay the same flat room rate as adults.
Dining
Breakfast is served buffet-style from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., with last entry at 8:45 a.m. It includes heshiko, a traditional dish of the Wakasa region of Fukui Prefecture, along with side dishes that change daily and a special curry. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with last entry at 8:45 p.m., there is also a dinner service for staying guests only. Select Hotels Curry and Kin no Gyudon, a golden beef-over-rice bowl, are served on alternating days, and each guest can enjoy one bowl free of charge.
Baths
There is no communal bath at the hotel. For bathing, guests use the en-suite bathroom provided in each guest room.

There are 3 coin-laundry machines on the third floor. Detergent is dispensed automatically, so you do not need to bring any. Humidifiers are also available to borrow at the front desk. The building is not barrier-free, but staff can help if you need assistance.

The hotel is about 10 minutes by car from Tsuruga IC on the Hokuriku Expressway and from JR Tsuruga Station. Free parking is available for about 37 cars in total across the on-site lot and the second and third lots, on a first-come, first-served basis.
