Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kyoto Oike is a compact smart-stay hotel in the Marriott family, a 4-minute walk from Karasuma Oike subway station. The bathroom is a combined bath-and-toilet unit with a bidet toilet, and the hotel notes that the bathtub is on the roomier side. Some room types have a maximum occupancy of 2 guests, and no room can take an extra bed (rollaway bed).

Breakfast is served buffet-style at Garden, the restaurant on the first floor, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with last entry at 10 a.m. It uses more than 40 ingredients and spans a range of food cultures, including Japanese, Western, spiced and vegan dishes, and incorporates seasonal vegetables and other local ingredients from Kyoto. Even if you book a room-only plan, breakfast can be added afterward: 1,800 yen when reserved by the day before, or 2,000 yen on the day itself, both including tax. This breakfast venue is the only restaurant in the hotel, and room service is not available. The number of meals for a co-sleeping child follows the meal terms of the plan you booked.
