Overview
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka is a business hotel about a 15-minute walk from the East Exit of JR Morioka Station and about a 3-minute walk from the Odori shopping street in the center of Morioka. The whole property was renovated in April 2025, and every room is at least 18 sq m. Children of elementary school age and under co-sleep free of charge, up to one child per bed, and cribs are available free of charge for children under 1 with advance reservation. There is no communal bath, onsen, or indoor or outdoor pool, but children's amenities such as slippers and toothbrushes are provided.
Rooms
All 194 rooms were renovated across the entire property on April 1, 2025, and each is at least 18 sq m. The Standard Double and Superior Double rooms are 18 sq m with one 154 cm-wide bed and accommodate 1 to 2 guests. The 26 sq m Deluxe Double room has a massage chair and a 168 cm-wide bed, and a crib can be set up there free of charge with advance reservation. The 20 sq m Corner Double rooms are all corner rooms with one 154 cm-wide bed. A crib can also be set up in the 31 sq m rooms with a 140 cm-wide bed, again free of charge with advance reservation. There is also a 31 sq m room for 3 guests, a twin room with an extra bed added, which suits family stays. The Universal Room for wheelchair users and older guests (31 sq m, non-smoking only) can be booked by phone only. Rooms have an air purifier with a humidifying function, which helps with dry air. Checkout is normally at 11 a.m., but it can be extended until 2 p.m. at the latest for 1,000 yen including tax per hour.

Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. (last entry 9 a.m.) as a Japanese and Western buffet at Inase Morioka, on the first floor of the hotel. The spread includes Iwate regional dishes such as Morioka's three famous noodle dishes - Morioka reimen, jajamen and wanko soba - as well as hittsumi dumpling soup. The price is 1,980 yen for adults and 900 yen for elementary school children, and it is free for children who have not yet started elementary school. Room service is not available.

The Odori shopping street, Morioka's main street, is about a 3-minute walk away, making the location convenient for meals and shopping. On-site parking has 7 spaces (including 1 for guests with disabilities), first-come, first-served with no reservations, at 1,100 yen including tax per night. If the lot is full, guests are directed to a nearby affiliated parking lot.
