Rooms
There are 41 rooms in all, both Western-style rooms and Japanese-style tatami rooms, and every room faces south. The Western-style rooms take up to 2 guests, with a capacity of 1 to 2. They are designed for two and suited to couples, including married couples, so families of 3 or more stay in a Japanese-style tatami room. For children who will be co-sleeping, please inquire separately, as noted below. The Japanese-style tatami rooms have air conditioning and heating, a refrigerator, and a bath and toilet, and sleep up to 4 guests. Their capacity is 3 to 4: these are spacious rooms for 4, suited to groups and families. Room sizes (in sq m or tatami mats), bed widths and futon bedding are not listed in our information. The refrigerator is empty. Hair dryers are available to borrow, there is no in-room safe, and valuables are kept at the front desk. Check-in is from 2 p.m. and checkout is by 10 a.m.
Dining
Dinner is a set menu served from 6 p.m., and breakfast is a set menu served from 8 a.m., both in the hotel's dining room. Meals feature local cuisine made with seafood and vegetables, and breakfast is mainly Japanese. The menu may change depending on which ingredients are available. The hotel is close to Niijima Airport and Niijima Port. To reach Niijima, the high-speed jet ferry from Takeshiba in Tokyo takes as little as 2 hours 20 minutes and the large passenger ship as little as 8 hours 30 minutes. The car ferry from Shimoda takes as little as 2 hours 40 minutes, and flights from Chofu Airfield take as little as 35 minutes. If you travel with Tokai Kisen from Takeshiba, you arrive on Niijima the day after departure. A free shuttle is available and must be reserved in advance. On your way home, the hotel will also drive you to the port in time for your departure, so please arrange this with them beforehand. Parking has 5 spaces, for staying guests only.
