Minshuku Kaguranoyakata occupies a traditional house built in 1870 and relocated to this hilltop, which looks out over the mountains and terraced rice fields of Iwato. Dining
Every meal is served in the kagura hall, which has a sunken hearth. You can taste local specialties: kagura cuisine, the regional dishes that appear at the night kagura performances and village festivals; kappo chicken, cooked over charcoal and served in a bamboo vessel; and Takachiho beef, graded at level 4 or above. Breakfast is a standard Japanese breakfast. Dinner begins between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. and finishes at 8:30 p.m., and breakfast begins between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. If you reserve by the day before your stay, meals can also be arranged in your room or in the garden.
Bath
The inn has one bath, which, like the toilets, is shared. Guests who would like one receive a bathing ticket, one per night, and can also use the shower here at the inn. Up the slope next to the inn is the bathing facility Ama-no-Iwato-no-Yu, about a 5-minute walk away; it is a public facility used by many local residents as well.

For car navigation, setting Ama-no-Iwato-no-Yu as your destination is recommended. Amanoiwato Shrine is a 10-minute drive away.
