Overview

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Okinawa-Kenchomae is a business hotel in Naha, about a 3-minute walk from Asahibashi Station and Kenchomae Station on the Yui Rail and about a 5-minute walk from Kokusai Street. Children of elementary school age and under co-sleep free of charge, up to one child per adult per bed. For babies under 1, cribs are lent free of charge by advance reservation, in limited numbers and only for certain room types. The Annex building has Superior Twin rooms that sleep up to 4 guests. There is no communal bath or pool, and breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet that includes Okinawan dishes.

Rooms

The hotel has a main building and an Annex building. In the main building, cribs cannot be set up in the Standard Rooms (16.5-18 sq m, for 2 guests). They can be set up in the main building's Deluxe Double (24 sq m, for 2 guests; a corner room with a sofa), the Hollywood Twin and the Standard Twin (both 25.5 sq m, with two beds 122 cm wide, and up to 3 guests with an extra bed), and the Universal Room (25.5 sq m, for 2 guests, with emergency buttons beside the bed and in the bathroom). Every Annex room is at least 25.5 sq m. The Annex has the Moderate Twin (26.6 sq m, for 2 guests), the Superior Twin (27.2-28.8 sq m, bed width 110 cm, up to 4 guests), the Deluxe Twin (35.9 sq m, up to 3 guests), the Concept Twin (25.5 sq m, for 2 to 3 guests) and a Universal Room that wheelchair users can also use (25.5 sq m, for 2 guests). Whether cribs can be placed in the Annex rooms is not listed in our information, so please confirm with the hotel. Every main-building room has an air purifier and every Annex room has an air purifier with a humidifying function, and humidifiers are also available to borrow.

Dining

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet, including Okinawan dishes, served at OKINAWA BAL Uchinaa Sakaba CRAIC on the 1st floor of the main building from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (last orders at 9:30 a.m.). Guests staying in the Annex also have breakfast here, on the main building's 1st floor. Prices are 1,600 yen for adults (13 and over), 900 yen for elementary school children (ages 6 to 12) and free for children under 6, all including tax. On some breakfast-included plans, breakfast is not included for co-sleeping children and is sold separately at the front desk. In-room dining is not available. Dishes that take allergies into account can be arranged; please confirm with the hotel in advance what can be accommodated.

Baths

There is no communal bath, private-hire bath or onsen, so guests bathe in their own room. In the Annex, apart from some rooms, the bathroom and toilet are semi-separate. The Annex's Concept Twin has no bathtub, so there is no tub to soak in.

Family-Friendly Features

Children of elementary school age and under co-sleep free of charge, up to one child per adult per bed: one child in single and double rooms, and up to two in twin rooms. Co-sleeping may not be possible in some room types, and if one adult stays in a twin room, co-sleeping is not available and the rate for 2 guests applies. A child who uses a bed is treated the same as an adult and charged accordingly. No bedding is provided for co-sleeping children, and baby futons are not available to borrow. Cribs are lent free of charge for babies under 1. Because numbers and room types are limited, advance reservation is required, and for safety reasons cribs cannot be lent for babies who can pull themselves up to stand. The front desk gives children items such as a toothbrush and slippers as a gift. Some of the hotel's information also mentions pajamas and picture books to borrow, but the details vary, so please check with the hotel. The hotel's list of items to borrow includes a thermometer, among others. A stroller also appears as a loan item in photos on Rakuten Travel, but it is not on the list of items to borrow, so if you would like to use one, please contact the hotel in advance. From Naha Airport it takes about 10-15 minutes on the Yui Rail or about 15 minutes by car. Parking is in a multi-level parking structure with 36 spaces (8 of them for high-roof vehicles), at 1,500 yen per night including tax, on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations.
