The two-story building has 14 rooms in all, each with a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer, desk, table and open closet, and internet access by wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
Dining
Dinner is not served. In the morning, from 7 to 9 a.m., a light breakfast of coffee, green tea, black tea, juice and bread is provided free of charge in the lounge. Along with the coffee server, the lounge has a microwave, an electric hot-water kettle and a toaster oven permanently installed and free to use, handy when you want to warm up something you have brought with you. There are also vending machines for juice and other drinks, and coin-operated laundry machines for a fee.

Places to Play Nearby
The surrounding area has plenty of destinations to head for with children. Hirakata Park, about 8.3 km away and known affectionately as "Hira-Pa," is the oldest surviving family amusement park in Japan and has about 40 attractions. It has an indoor petting area where you can meet adorable animals, along with seasonal events: a pool in summer, and skating, snow play and illuminations in winter. Wani Park, about 3.7 km away, is the largest comprehensive park owned by the city of Hirakata, with paid sports facilities including a pool, tennis courts, volleyball courts and playing fields, as well as free areas such as a lawn. The Wani Park pool is built for the whole family, with a current pool about 120 m around, a wave pool that feels like the sea, a nine-lane 50 m pool and a children's pool, plus a lunch area. Admission is 900 yen for adults (high school students) and 450 yen for elementary and junior high school students. Nothing is published about whether swim diapers are allowed, so please confirm in advance if you are going with a child who is not yet out of diapers.
Access
The lodge is about 2 km from Yawata-Kyotanabe IC on the Shin-Meishin Expressway via Prefectural Route 284, and about 4 km from Kyotanabe-Matsui IC on the Second Keihan Road. It sits about 100 m east of the Kagu Danchi-mae traffic light on National Route 1 (the Keihan Kokudo). Free parking is available, but with only 14 spaces, one for each room, please contact the lodge in advance if you are arriving in more than one car. Check-in is from 3 p.m., and since the paperwork has to be completed by 11 p.m., you need to arrive by around 10:30 p.m. Checkout is at 10 a.m. Universal Studios Japan is about 40 km away and the Expo Commemorative Park about 36 km, putting Osaka's main destinations within driving reach.
